At Scotiabank Centre, we’re passionate about making Halifax the best destination for sports and entertainment and giving back to the community that helps us do so. Though at times it may have felt hard to feel connected, we rallied together finding new ways to engage and ensure we were keeping the excitement alive and the events back at Scotiabank Centre.

LIVE MUSIC LIVES WITH THE SUPERNOVA CELEBRATION

The SuperNova Celebration was a true testament to the adaptability and tenacity of our team, our partners, and our community. Produced in partnership with Brookes Diamond Productions, it was the biggest live entertainment event in Nova Scotia in almost two years!  Based on a vision to celebrate with our community and get artists back on stage, the concert was a showcase for Canadian talent featuring performances by Classified, JRDN, Matt Anderson, Ria Mae, The Trews, and many more.

“We are incredibly grateful to all our partners, especially Scotiabank Centre who, despite the challenges, remained enthusiastic and did whatever it took to successfully welcome Nova Scotians back to enjoy live music,” said Fiona Diamond, vice-president of Brookes Diamond Productions. “Our pride in Nova Scotia talent is limitless and we just showed in spades how fabulous our province is.”

BEING A GOOD NEIGHBOUR

We are proud to be in the heart of downtown Halifax, surrounded by our many amazing neighbours that create an extension of the event experience for fans and the reason our community is known for hosting great events. As events returned, we wanted to make sure our neighbours knew about the incredible lineup we had planned at Scotiabank Centre, so we went for a visit and did what any good neighbour would do – brought fresh baked cookies!

COME TOGETHER!

With an incredible lineup of events on the horizon, we wanted our fans and community to know that live events were back. That’s why we launched the Come Together advertising campaign aimed at highlighting events in our venue and throughout our community to build excitement and awareness.

We also implemented a series of ‘welcome back’ activities as we re-opened our doors to be loud and proud about how happy we were to be back hosting events and show our fans how much we missed them.
